1. Petrochemicals

Scenario:

Refinery: atmospheric decompression distillation unit in the bottom of the tower pump (conveying high temperature heavy oil, head 200 ~ 500m);

Chemical process: high-pressure reactor feed pump (such as polymerisation reaction raw material delivery, pressure 10~30MPa).

Pump body material: high temperature alloy steel (such as 1Cr5Mo), corrosion-resistant stainless steel (316L), the need to resist media corrosion (such as sulfur crude oil).

2. Power industry

Scenario:

Thermal power plant: boiler feed pump (conveying high pressure water to the boiler, head 1000~2000m, pressure 10~30MPa);

Nuclear power plant: main feed water pump (safety grade equipment, conveying high temperature and high pressure deionised water).

Pump body characteristics: the use of forged carbon steel (such as 20 # steel) or low alloy steel, need to withstand extreme temperatures (200 ~ 350 ℃) and high pressure, the structure needs to comply with the ASME Code.

3. Metallurgy and Mining

Scenario:

Mine drainage: deep mine shafts (over 500m) with high head (300~800m);

Iron and steel mills: high-pressure cooling water circulation for continuous casting machines (pressure 10~20MPa, cooling the crystalliser).

Pump body material: wear-resistant cast iron (such as high chromium cast iron) or cast steel (ZG270-500), resistant to sediment abrasion.
